As we wait for the next iteration of the Indian Premier League to begin, the franchises have revealed their retained players list – with all the ten teams as below!;
Lucknow Supergiants (LSG) retained players;
KL Rahul, Quinton De Kock, Manan Vohra, Ayush Badoni, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, Marcus Stoinis, Kyle Mayers, Karan Sharma, Krishnappa Gowtham, Avesh Khan, Mohsin Khan, Ravi Bishnoi, Mark Wood and Mayank Yadav.
Gujarat Titans (GT) retained players;
Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, David Miller, Wriddhiman Saha, Matthew Wade, Abhinav Manohar, Sai Sudharsan, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Vijay Shankar, Sai Kishore, Jayant Yadav, Mohammad Shami, Alzarri Joseph, Yash Dayal, Noor Ahmad, Darshan Nalkande and Pradeep Sangwan.
Mumbai Indians (MI) retained players;
Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Dewald Brevis, Tilak Varma, Tristan Stubbs, Ramandeep Singh, Tim David, Arjun Tendulkar, Jason Behrendorff, Arshad Khan, Akash Madhwal, Jasprit Bumrah, Jofra Archer, Hrithik Shokeen and Kumar Kartikeya. Though they dumped Kieron Pollard this time, he’s set to join the team as their new batting coach.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) retained players;
Rahul Tripathi, Glenn Phillips, Aiden Markram, Abhishek Sharma, Abdul Samad, Washington Sundar, Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, T Natarajan, Karthik Tyagi, and Fazalhaq Farooqi. The team has just ditched their skipper Kane Williamson, Nicholas Pooran, and others.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) retained players;
MS Dhoni, Devon Conway, Ambati Rayudu, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Subranshu Senapati, Mitchell Santner, Dwayne Pretorius, Shivam Dube, Hangargekar, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali, Deepak Chahar, Mukesh Choudhary, Maheesh Theekshana, Tushar Deshpande, Simarjeet Singh, Matheesha Pathirana and Parsanth Solanki.
Punjab Kings (PBKS) retained players;
Shikhar Dhawan, Johnny Bairstow, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Prabhsimran, Shahrukh Khan, Liam Livingstone, Harpreet Brar, Raj Bawa, Rishi Dhawan, Atharva Taide, Kagiso Rabada, Arshdeep Singh, Rahul Chahar, Nathan Ellis and Baltej Singh. PBKS has recently appointed Shikhar Dhawan as their new skipper, who’ll lead the team in IPL 2023.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) retained players;
Shreyas Iyer, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Rinku Singh, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Niteesh Rana, Anukul Roy, Venkatesh Iyer, Shardul Thakur, Tim Southee, Lockie Ferguson, Umesh Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, and Harshit Rana.
Delhi Captains (DC) retained players;
Rishab Pant, David Warner, Prithvi Shaw, Yash Dhull, Ripal Patel, Rovman Powell, Sarfaraz Khan, Mitchell Marsh, Axar Patel, Lalit Yadav, Anrich Nortje, Mustafizur Rahman, Kuldeep Yadav, Lungi Ngidi, Chetan Sakariya, Khaleel Yadav, Praveen Dubey, Kamlesh, Nagarkoti, Vicky Ostwal, and Aman Khan.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) retained players;
Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler, Devdutt Padikkal, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shimron Hetmyer, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Yuzvendra Chahal, Prasidh Krishna, Ohed McCoy, Kuldeep Sen, Navdeep Saini, Kuldip Yadav, and KC Cariappa.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) retained players;
Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Wanindu Hasaranga, David Willey, Finn Allen, Rajat Patidar, Dinesh Karthik, Mahipal Lomror, Anuj Rawat, Shahbaz Ahmed, Suyansh Prabhudesai, Harshal Patel, Siddharth Kaul, Mohammad Siraj, Akash Deep, Josh Hazlewood, and Karn Sharma.
